Why Invisalign?

Clear. Removable. Made to Work With You.

Discreet, flexible, and perfect for confident smiles at any age.

Removable

Made with SmartTrack material, Invisalign aligners are easy to remove—so you can enjoy your favorite foods anytime, unlike fixed braces.

Aestheticly Pleasing

Invisalign is virtually invisible, so you can smile confidently—unlike braces with visible wires and brackets.

Clearer Timelines

Invisalign lets you see each stage of your treatment and timeline clearly—unlike braces, which only offer an estimate upfront.

Lesser Doctor Visits

Unlike braces where you have to visit your doctor every 3-4 weeks, Invisalign frees up your schedule with visits to the clinic only once every 6-8 weeks.

Lesser Pain

SmartStage and SmartForce technologies gently and effectively move your teeth over time—without the irritation or pain often caused by braces.

Better Oral Health

Invisalign aligners are removable, so you can brush and floss like normal—unlike braces, which make cleaning around brackets difficult and can lead to plaque buildup.

Who is Invisalign For?

Invisalign Conditions Slider

Overbite

An underbite occurs when your lower front teeth sit ahead of your upper teeth when your mouth is closed. This is often due to the lower jaw extending too far forward.

Underbite

An underbite is when your lower front teeth sit in front of your upper teeth when your mouth is closed. It’s often caused by the lower jaw being positioned too far forward.

Crossbite

A crossbite happens when upper teeth sit inside lower teeth, rather than outside as they normally should.

Gap Teeth

Gap teeth, or spacing issues, occur when there’s extra space between two or more of your

Open Bite

An open bite is when your upper and lower teeth don’t meet when your mouth is closed.

Crowded Teeth

Crowded teeth happen when there’s not enough room in your jaw, causing them to overlap or twist.

Straighter Teeth

You like your smile — but you’re ready to love it. Whether it’s for a big event or just everyday confidence at work or school, even small changes can make a big difference.

How Invisalign Works?

A dentist designs personalized clear plastic trays for your teeth. You wear each set of trays for a specific duration, typically a few weeks.

These trays gradually reposition your teeth for a straighter smile.

My family and I have been attending Dr Peter Ikonomou's surgery for over 20 years and would never go to another dentist! His team is so understanding & supportive of our anxiety & make us feel so relaxed with his work always being of high quality. We have done it all from having braces put in to fixing teeth due to a broken jaw with the results being amazing. There are few dentists like Peter who actually is so empathetic to your pain and suffering. I cannot recommend anyone else. It is rare to say that he has been my only dentist I have seen in my adult life. I never think of going elsewhere as his service and costs are always on par if not better than going elsewhere. Thank you so much Dr Peter.

Have been with Dr Elva for ages. She’s super professional and kind. Always enjoyed to relax a bit before the serious checking part and get the tooth cleaning done. Lucky to find a dentist who makes medical appointment worth expecting. And a big THANKS to the best nurse Mia plus the lovely receptionist lady Kim.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions About Invisalign Treatment

Is Invisalign treatment more expensive than braces?

Invisalign treatment could be a similar cost to braces. Speak with your Invisalign provider about your specific treatment needs.

Costs vary from doctor to doctor and may be dependent on the complexity of your case and your course of treatment. Please speak to an Invisalign-trained doctor to get a more accurate cost estimate of your treatment

Depending on the complexity of your case, you could complete your Invisalign treatment in as little as 6 months.

For the best results, Invisalign aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours a day. The aligners should only be removed when eating, drinking (anything other than water), brushing, or flossing.

No, you should remove your aligners before Consuming food and beverages except water. Eating with aligners can damage them, and food particles can get trapped between your teeth and the aligners, leading to potential cavities and staining.

To clean your aligners, rinse them with lukewarm water and gently brush them with a soft toothbrush. Avoid using toothpaste as it can scratch the plastic. Invisalign also provides cleaning crystals to help keep your aligners fresh and clear.

Yes, Invisalign can be used alongside crowns, bridges, or implants. However, your provider will assess your situation to determine if it is a suitable option for your specific dental needs.

Invisalign is effective for many types of dental misalignments, including crowding, gaps, overbites, underbites, and crossbites. Your dentist or orthodontist will assess your specific case to determine if Invisalign is the best treatment for you.

Invisalign aligners are made from smooth plastic, so they are generally more comfortable than traditional braces, which can have sharp edges. Some people may experience mild discomfort when switching to a new aligner set, but it typically subsides within a few days.
